Blank Greeting Cards Fiber Artists Will love!
If you’re a fiber artist like me, the blank greeting cards you typically find in stores just don’t excite you much.
We’re used to seeing the beautiful colors and engaging textures of the fascinating materials we work with and we want the same type of imagery on the cards we send to our friends and family.
And, personally, I prefer blank greeting cards because the messages in pre-written cards never seem to capture what I’m trying to say the way I want to say it.
So, I decided to solve this problem for myself and for others who share my frustration with normal greeting cards.
I’ve created sets of blank greeting cards featuring photos I’ve taken of my favorite yarns, knitted creations, and other fiber-arty things.
Take a look and see if there’s anything you’d like to use to express your love of fiber arts to your friends and families with the cards you send them.

This picture can also be found in my How To Use Kool Aid to Dye Wool Yarn guide. I took this picture when I was teaching a group of junior high students my Beast to Blanket class in 2008.
My mom especially loved this picture of the yarn we dyed during the class and has been having me make her these blank greeting cards for years.

The Malabrigo brand of yarn has been one of my favorites for years. I bought the Rios in Arco Iris that’s shown in the foreground along with a skein of Rasta in Aniversario that’s in the background while in Columbia, Missouri at the Knotty Goat Yarn Shop during one of my Kiersten J Yarn Shop Hop trips.
Aren’t they both beautiful!

This image is a close-up of a shawl I’m making with beautiful yarn from the independent dyer Spun Right Round in Rochester, New York.
I found it at The Artful Yarn in Chagrin Falls, Ohio on a Kiersten J Yarn Shop Hop visit.
You can read all about this charming shop and see more images of the yarn and shawl you see in this picture in this post.
